In thids Fate, we have twice the servants, so the action may be more satisfying than all Fate shows that have come before. I haven't watched many episodes, but I'm not at all disappointed so far. Fate/Apocrypha is astounding, as far as visuals go. I only ever watched 2 episodes of Fate/Stay Night and one episode of Fate Zero, so the most I know about Fate is that the action is great. I don't know if the writing for the Fate shows is as strong as the fighting. As someone who doesn't follow the various Fate anime, I still know that the animation is top notch. There is one undeniable fact about the Fate series: it's beautiful. Let's see what made the cut this season! Finally Got to See It! The anime’s marketing so far has spotlighted the more endearing relationship between Asta and Yuno, compared to Naruto and Sasuke’s antagonistic relationship in Naruto. And though the manga supposedly starts out as a carbon copy of the influences the show wears on its sleeve, it apparently becomes its own thing later on. Why It Sounds Good: Shonen like Naruto have clearly inspired this series. When Asta discovers the power of “anti-magic,” their journey to fulfill their dreams truly begins. Yuno - his friend, rival, and fellow orphan - is a magic prodigy, and has the same goal. What It’s About: Asta is a young orphan who dreams of becoming the next Wizard King, despite being born without any magical power.
